I don’t know how old we are
Can we agree these last couple years, okay, five years have been a blur? All the more reason to pause, to celebrate, to say – look at what has been happening! Look what God has done. TWO years ago (not 3, as I said this weekend – whew!) we were received by our denomination’s regional leadership (Presbytery) as a local church. We celebrated that with a big party on February 5, 2023, with many of you committing to the community, ordaining elders, and worshipping Jesus in the RAWW gym.
We’re going to keep celebrating!
This Sunday, expect a very different kind of service – there will be toasts, singing, feasting! We’ll ask the Hackman’s “Birthday Questions” of the congregation – What are we really glad happened this year? What’s one thing we hope happens before we are three years old?
Our friends from World Relief are coming back for the second feast in a row because Hannah and Claudia from their team with James Leet want to invite us into a… well, I won’t spoil it… come hear what we’re hoping happens before we are three years old! :)
Come to the feast, Friends. You’re invited! Come share stories of God, of neighbors, of seeking and finding God’s peace together in our neighborhoods.
