DRUMROLL, Please! Our new location is…
We met Wednesday afternoon with the owner of our location and some of his first words were, “We want to have you here.” Praise be to God!!
We’re excited to announce that we’ll be meeting, at RAWW Athletics beginning this Sunday, October 9th, at 10:00am, and we’ll be staying at least through the end of December, including Christmas Eve!!!
Major thanks go out to Taylor who has the vision for not just a gym but a community center that “encompasses the wellness spectrum” (does that sound like a gym’s version of seeking God’s shalom for our neighborhood or what?!)! Their event space can hold about 150, and there’s a separate area for our kids to have their own conversation during the sermon portion of our gatherings.
RACC – RAWW Athletics and Community Center – holds down the corner of the shopping center directly across from South Kitsap High School on Mile Hill, one of Port Orchard’s major thoroughfares. They have created space not only for individual wellness, but they’ve also hosted YoungLife events and local artists. Now they’re welcoming us!
With this significant answer to prayer, my sense of expectancy is growing for this season in the life of Kitsap House.
Sunday we begin to “define ‘church,’ a series through the book of Ephesians. How timely is that?! A church is not a building but a people– a people that God has beautiful plans for.
So join us Sunday for “God has a plan,” and worship with us in this central community location!
BYOC – Bring Your Own Chair while we work out all the logistics for meeting there! Of course, we’ll have some, but if you have a favorite, pack it up and meet us there at 10am.

Also, just for you – this playlist inspired many a drive this week. I give God so much thanks for you, our incredible staff, and building team. Together, we came up with a list of 21 possible meeting locations in Port Orchard! I drove around Monday to each one and worshipped God, belting out my “Battle Cry.” If you’re waiting for God to answer a specific prayer, I commend this to you!
