Did we Launch…Again?

Twenty people putting up sandwich boards, chairs, unloading trunks with new kids’ toys and instruments. The buzz and anticipation of a new location made this past Sunday feel like a launch all over again! And then – in a very 2020-like flashback – we’ve had to spend this time planning a Plan B for next week in anticipation of inclement weather.

But never fear! We are adaptable! Perseverant! Unshakable! We laugh in the face of… change! Okay, well I may be beginning to sound delirious, but in all sincerity…

To see God’s provision over and over again for this community bolsters my faith, and I hope it bolsters the strength of this whole, new community. God’s doing what he has always been doing – creating and recreating, forming and transforming, providing and loving– making us a people with strong endurance muscles.

If at the start of this year you’re feeling like life is particularly challenging, let me invite you to explore a solid framework for your life – you are created, and as we will (I hope) explore this Sunday, you are loved.

There is so much changing, what can we lean on that enables us to adapt, persevere and stand firm? That’s what we’re exploring on Sunday mornings in our series, “Framework,” and in our upcoming cohort, Practicing the Way, on Tuesday nights.

Come and be in the company of those asking God to help us stand firm together.

We see you 2024 – we’re not scared! We have an unshakable God.
